Man, I stink at this!

Becca's first day of Preschool

Okay, so my blog is updated like once a year, twice if you are lucky! LOL I like the idea of the blog, I just plain forget to put stuff in here. I thought it was about time though. I am adding pictures of the kids' first days of school and halloween. I know I am way behind, but live with it, or I will send the pictures to you and you can blog for me!
Hugs to all!
I can't find all the blasted pictures, so you will just have to wait!

Ammon is official!

Ammon and Steven, so proud of my men! (Tear ;) )

Ammon's baptism .... there was a slight change of plans and the ward waited until there were more than one child to be baptized. So, Ammon was baptized on December 7th with 2 of his friends from his primary class. It was a great event and we all enjoyed it. We are so proud of our little man. He loves his suit, he says it makes him look like a missionary. That is the point buddy, keep thinking that way! Anyhow, we have 2 kiddos baptized now! Amazing how time flies.
So, this isn't the greatest picture of our little family, Kieli had pink eye and we were just waiting to get this picture done before I wisked her off to the ER, and Becca had litterally taken a nose dive while playing with her siblings that morning. Oh well, we are all there and breathing, right?

I'm BACK!!!

So, I have a few people who have been after me to update this thing...and since I have to be home with Ash who has strep, I figured this is a good enough time! Easter was a really long time ago!

Since then we have moved to a great house in a great village with GREAT landlords! YIPPEEE!!!!

Kieli had a birthday in June and turned 6! Wow, I hardly can believe that it has been that long already. She did her "High School Musical" party at the local pizza parlor. She had a fun time, and I didn't have to cook, clean up or do much! My kind of party!

Ashley turned 10 in September...she is getting so grown up! It is fun, and terribly scary at the same time. I threw her a surprize spa party this year. I invited her friends and sent her off on an errand with her daddy. When she got back we surprized her with pedicures, make overs and a chic flick with all the snacks. She really loved it. She is really into the tweener stuff, and fun to hang out with.

Ammon turned 8 a couple of weeks ago. He had his party at the new pool on post. I really love those kind of parties. He had a really fun time and we all got to go swimming. He will be baptised the first Saturday in November. Wow, when did my kids get so old? :)

Becca has a birthday coming up soon. She wants a halloween birthday. So we are having her and her 3 friends (my kids get to invite the same number of kids as they are turning) over for a little costume party on Halloween. We are planning on doing the cute old stuff like musical chairs and bobbing for apples.

Then we will take the kids out trick-or-treating. I am not looking forward to it, but oh well. We usually have a trunk-or-treat with the ward. Which works well for me, we just have to go around the parking lot and then we get to go home. This year, they decided to do it on another night, so my kids are going to want to go actual trick-or-treating on base. Unfortunetly, that is most everyones option too, since we are in Germany and it is not a German holiday. So, from what I understand it will be a ZOO. Hopefully if we go early it will be a little better. We shall see.

So, besides that...the girls are doing dance, yes even Becca too. Ashley is doing hip hop this year, Kieli is doing tap and Becca is in Pre-ballet. Ammon did football, but is finished and decided that he would rather take piano lessons. It is kind of funny, he is such a boy's boy, but not crazy about organized team sports. It could have something to do with his dad yelling directions and coaching him from the sidelines all the time, but that is just a guess. Anyhow, we picked up a nice keyboard from friends of ours for a great price and he will start lessons soon. So, all of the activities are fun, but a lot of running around.

My Close to My Heart business, which I just signed up for the discount and it has had a life of it's own, is going crazy and keeping my free time booked. I enjoy it a lot, and it gets my creative juices going!

Steven is terribly busy at work lately. He was wearing 2 hats there for a while, and things have calmed down a bit. He likes the work he is doing, but he is missing the pat ient interaction. He is doing administration right now, and he likes most of the work, but has little patience for dumb people or politics. So, he is like the rest of us in that way I guess.

I think that about covers it for now. I will try to add pictures, if I can remember how.

Until next time.... :)

Happy Easter!

In my house we are forced to hide our Easter eggs inside the house...FUN! The hard part is finding them all when the kids are done looking for them. My hubby just asked me "how many eggs did we do again?" Uh-oh, I sure hope I counted right, no one wants to find that egg next week!

All in all, it was a good easter morning. I have high hopes for the rest of the day - yeah right! After I have cleaned up from breakfast should be about the time my kids enter their sugar rage from the jellybeans and chocolate bunnies. Ah, such a wonderful holiday.

We shall see how our family makes it through church with these hyped up kids. I think this is the phase in my life when we are just litterally "making it through" church anyway. I am so busy keeping hands busy and mouths quiet that I usually don't hear anything being said over the pulpit. But, that is not as important as the fact that we are there, right?

Spring break is in a week, YIKES! Hopefully I can fill it with activities, play dates and trips (to everywhere except the ER!). I will be happy with everyone making it through the week.

Well, Happy Easter to all, and may all your eggs be found.

:o)
